They say horses run in your blood.... well its TRUE. At the impossible age of 94 my great grandmother was determined to break a young Arabian stallion. She was on his back one day when the unfortunate happened and she fell. She lived.... and died, for her passion.
As a child I was told from the time I could walk that I could ride the Horsey...... but I was never to ride a motorcycle or in the hot cars. It was an unnecessary rule however, because from the beginning nothing else could compare to the love I had for horses .
As a young women my life was consumed first by trail riding then 4-H, then later judging and showing; then came a Morgan mare and dressage which lead to very talented black Russian Arab and the regional championships. Eventually my passion led me to beautiful Ocala Florida with it rolling hills, live oaks and the silver river.
Today I live for the foals, our spectacular Florida sunsets and great friends.
My home, Genesis/Irish Dream Farms, is actually 10 minutes from everything horse related in Ocala, being located on the north side and only 1.5 miles from I-75. Along with 200 year old oaks, open green pastures and a peaceful setting it also hosts some of the best sunsets you will ever see: only to be rivaled by tranquil star lit nights where shooting stars are a common sight.
I am thankful that I have been blessed in this way. My home has brought forth gorgeous foals and peace of mind for myself and my beloved horses and dogs. Contact me to schedule a sunset and starry sky for yourself or your horse!
